Produced by the Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC), a division of the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, and  sponsored by the WWRC Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, VR Workforce Studio highlights successful vocational rehabilitation (VR) stories that result in employment for Individuals with Disabilities.  The website and podcasts also celebrates the champions of employment who hire people with disabilities as well as vocational rehabilitation professionals and the work they do to create hope and a path forward to employment for People with Disabilities so they can work and lead productive lives.

Get an update to the Chris Hall Story - WWRC MTT Graduate employed by The Hershey Company and positioned to work as a registered apprentice.  Listen as Chris describes his job as a Production Operator and how his life has changed as a result of participation in WWRC's Career Pathways, pre-apprenticeship manufacturing training program and opportunities he has accessed while employed by Hershey to further his career.  Chris is joined by Debby Hopkins, Shenandoah Valley Workforce Board Chief Workforce Officer & Program Director, and Todd Cook, Virginia Department of Labor and Industry discussing apprenticeships.    Broadcast live from the Jobs Driven Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center's Work-Based Learning Conference in Dallas, Texas, in March, 2018, where Chris was the focus of a panel presentation and poster session.   The Conference was attended by some of the Country's top leaders in VR who were inspired by Chris' story and impressed with WWRC's successful apprenticeship training model.  Click HERE for images of Chris during the Conference (be sure to open in Google CHROME to view).
